Quintessential Quintuplets -Animu ツ Rebyu ツ

Quintessential Quintuplets

Yow. This is the first anime entry sa list ko which is sorted alphabetically.

Because why not?

  • Good Art (makulay yung buhok pero hindi pangit if u know what i mean)
  • Good character development (tho idk sa manga)
  • Another OP MC (pero hindi yung sumisigaw ng catchphrases like hamehamehaa)
  • A very fun anime where maeexcite ka as a hopeless adolescent dahil sa lima pwede mong panigan, and more exciting if DT ka.

Tbh, galante lang talaga ako sa pagsscore. This series is a bit down din naman at some points for me.

  • As the romcom kicks in, the more fan-service we get.
  • Kaakibat ng pagiging OP MC yung pagiging OD or overdense (wtf am i saying)
  • Contains plots na ALAM MONG NAPANOOD MO NA SA IBA
  • IT IS A HAREM. C’mon.

Well, para sakin lang, bc im an appreciative person, may points talaga siya na lamang sa ibang harem series out there. Limang babae in a harem plus the fact na magkakapatid pa sila, tho lots of it lacks originality, let us be reminded na harem animes really go for the fun of romcom less the degree of seriousness. The quintuplets, nice OP, non-eyesore hair colors are the factors why it deserves to be appreciated.

Im a Nino fan btw

Aho Girl-AnimeツReviewツ

Aho Girl

Okay lemme laugh first HAHAHAHAHAHA.

A dick-loving-banana-slave-shit-head-onna is coming into your way if you’re deciding whether u watch this or nah. This piece of morbidity currently sits at 9/10 rating from me.

Why only 9? Even I’m so galante?? hehe. I just don’t like slice-of-life animes.

This 12-minute boke-and-tsukkomi-style romcom between Yoshiko (the aho) and A-kun, with also the other characters spicing up the game, will surely bring your boring Pinoy life to a newborn memeable kind of anime.

The difficult thing for me to handle while watching SoL genre is the binge-watching.

(Ms. Kobayashi’s Maid Dragons, Sakamoto, Setokai Yakuindomo, Blend S, Wotakoi, pota nakarami kang recommendations ah) and here is the things that made me decide to go with 9:

  • It is funny, perverted, but it lacks even the smallest relationship development. I’ll tell u what nibba, oo funny pero yun na ba lahat? Topnotch comedy, but if u already watched similar genre WITH the slightest of relationship development, u’ll definitely find this lacking.
  • 12-mins runtime. Yea it happens. U wait for a damn week for a 12-minute wholesome ecchi comedy.
  • Art is good, but it’s so good that it should be hentai. Can’t watch it in pubs. Unless you’re a bold maniac.

Pero naging deciding factor talaga yung lack of development. Pero kung g ka na sa puchu-puchu, this kind of gourmet will be served hot, and funny.

91 DAYS-ANIMUツREBYUツ

91 DAYS

Here it is! This anime series really hyped up my enthusiasm coz daaamn this one is very good! 10 out of 10 para sakin!!! These are the key points:

  • Starting at its best point that appealed to me so much: the plot! You know the i-gotta-go-avenge-my-homie-coz-im-cool thing sa mga movies. Kinda cliché, but for a hollywood-kind of a plot na inilatag sa anime series, it’s just plain sugoi.
  • The ART! Maybe, just MAYBE, myanimelist peeps rated this 7.9/10 with 350k members because of the art style. Kung di ako magiging galante at papansinin ko talaga yung mga pangit, this series deserves to sit at 8points mababa na yun. I liked the art style dahil mas naeemphasize yung “historical genre” effect and yung “western setting” effect kasi early 1900s at U.S. yung setting niya, specifically the Prohibition Era.
  • It is an original. Yep. The studio and the producers were all behind it.

I rated it 10/10 dahil pasok sa panlasa ko yung R17+ ratings plus the special type ng art na ginamit. AND MIND YOU! TK from Ling Tosite Sigure was the artist behind the OP. I can’t spill details dahil baka ma-spoil ko yung important parts. Anyway, walang perpektong anime, bruh. Here’s the tagilid parts:

  • The plot. Yea. I’ve already watched numerous movies with the same problem, conflicts, and conclusion. If you already watched Baccano!, you’ll see.
  • Lack of impact. Kung advanced ka mag-isip, you’ll prolly get to the point na alam mo na next flow of scenes, or at least, nagkakaroon ka ng possible scenarios sa isip mo if he do this, that. Kaya, di siya ganoong ka-impakpul. Syempre di lahat. I rated it 10/10 ‘no, di lalamang yung pangit sides sa magaganda.
  • 12 episodes only. Fuck this shit.

Sobrang ganda neto promise.

Snow White with a Red Hair – Anime ツ Review ツ

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

Yahoo! What a great blast of butterflies in your stomach sa tuwing makaka-alala ka ng mga pinanood mong shoujo animes kahit na lalaki ka. Oops ba? HAHAHA

This is gonna be my first time rating a shoujo anime. Otoko si Maecdo-sensei so di ako masyadong bumibilib sa gantong type ng storya so this one currently sits at 9/10 rating para sakin. I’ll tell u why.

It’s about a girl’s journey, like a Disney princess, pinapakita dito kung gaano ka-pure at kasimple ang mga babae, until they found the love of their life. Tbh, as a man, nakakatuwa manood ng ganito kasi nagkakaroon ka ng bintana how women see the world, how they perceive things, how fragile they are, and every bit of that, you start to appreciate them more. This really helps us here at the real world to face them with less concern on how should we deal with the complicated beings called girls.

Una, so much shoujo ambience. Doon pa lang panalo na. Plus, the extraordinary simplicity ng overall mood, na feeling mo di ka pwedeng manood ng action series after mo dito. Tapos, topnotch voice-acting cast! Damn!

So, why 9?

  • Idk if this one’s really a downside, but they’re really malandi na sometimes magccringe ka HAHAHA.
  • For a shoujo anime, this lacks the shoujo animations and effects. Like this for example:

Eto sample:

  • Ayan!! U showcase some young love and di moko bibigyan ng young atmosphere such as like that!? C’mon.
  • Lacks “shoujo conflicts”. For a 12-episode series, dapat full-packed eh, kokonti ata lods.

Apparently, this has a sequel for a 2nd season, so watch out! I really recommend this kasi dito ako na-introduced sa napakamahiwagang mundo ng shoujo animes at talagang mapapa-dokidoki ka, kahit pa siguro babaero ka or 50lbs na plates mo sa gym.

Akame ga KILL! AnimeツReviewツ

Akame ga KILL!

Oooh! The first shounen anime series na irereview ko. Akame ga Kill! got my sweet 10/10 award dahil damn, this is 2014, where I was just starting to watch anime, and it introduced me sa plot level where everything can be gore and nasty.

Bale yung Night Raid group nila Akame works as the nation’s enemy. Their fight is to expose the government’s corrupt core. Pretty much sort of one of those “One Piece”-alike plot.

Nakakaenjoy dito yung uncertainty sa bawat laban, pero along the 24-episode killings, and kapag nagsimula na yung “NAKAKASAKIT” na phenomenon what made Akame ga Kill! famous, you can kinda predict what events will come after another.

Not until dumating yung conflict noong si Esdeath na ang kaharap nila, kung saan as viewer, will intrigue u, sino ba talaga yung may greater goal? Or sino ba yung mas tama HAHAHA.

As u begin unraveling anime sekai, u might stumble Akame ga Kill! at your first phase ng panonood ng anime. As an amateur, u will appreciate these:

  • Kakaibang atake sa feels dahil mafifeel mo din yung anger sa government’s corruption.
  • The gore. Period.
  • Yung heroic sense na madadama mo kada successful mission nila while staying behind the shadows.
  • Iconic group “Night Raid” tho some may cringe.

Pero as u proclaim urself “elite” in anime viewing:

  • Very nice character development. One of the best thing authors could do.
  • Amazing way of conflicting audience’s interest between the protagonist and antagonist. It worked for me that way, idk how it would affect u.
  • It is a fucking 24-episode series. Di ka mabibitin gago. Bibihira yung 24-episode na walang conclusion, so this thing here definitely has.

Pero, tandaan niyo, sensei here is just galante sa pagsscore.

  • fuck the author’s character’s lifespan management. too many sacrifices. period.
  • Contains many cliché references. Tho as an amateur, this may not trouble u.
  • Evil government plot. Gasgas na to.

In fact, the moment na nagsearch ka ng Akame ga Kill! review, one of the suggested results is “akame ga kill deaths” so your happy unspoiled life is already ruined.

Overall, it’s not that bad for an entertainment. After mo manood neto, ewan ko na lang kung paano ka magmomove-on.

Seeing household scissors may trigger PTSD.

January,2020. It’s a disastah.

Hey. Eto una kong gagawin dito HAHAHA. Daming nangyari fuck. Share ko lang mga thoughts ko. Full-packed ang January ng 2020. Kada-linggo may nagaganap ampota. Mas ininda ng Pelepens yung salubong ng 2020 dahil sa Taal Eruption tsaka pagsibol ng NCoV where all hate is directed towards the Chinese and the Pelepen Government. Anyway, part din ako ng Arko Competition sa College ko, and that’s putting a toll at my health. Nice timing.

Hi ツ

Ako si Maecdo. Isang normal na engineering student na nangangarap maging gaming content creator, as I also enjoy being a weeb without the harem, ecchi, and hentai behind the scenes.

Sabi ng WordPress ipublish ko daw to. Sanay naman ako maging under. Bansa ko nga tuta lang ng Tsina.

Why am i doing this kind of stuff?

  • “Because it gives new readers context.” Well, I play a lot of games under extreme ping but I still enjoy it. I also want to watch anime a lots and feeling ko mahalaga magiging opinyon ko kaya basahin niyo HAHAHA.
  • On a serious note, this is me, being creative as fuck.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • I do this because there is a part of me na gustong maging relevant sa mga bagay na gusto ko like gaming, anime, etc.
  • I will mostly write stuffs about the games I play, and the anime I want to recommend.
  • As a passionate weeb myself, I expect to draw out the creativity other weebs like me is having.
  • The biggest reason for me, Maecdo, as why am I blogging, is just because.

Hindi ko naman to ipupursue as a career; kasi gusto ko lang naman magexpress in my own way — training ground lang din sakin to, kasi gusto kong maging “someone” sa globally-scaled internet world.

Maybe, just maybe, may hindi pa ako nadidiscover na reason for starting this blog? Maybe I’ll just start writing few ideas related sa gaming and animes that I like. Number 42 btw was the answer calculated by Deep Thought, a very big computer over a very very long time-7.5M years-sa isang science-fiction novel titled Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy ni Douglas Adams. At the other hand, 42 in Japanese culture is considered unlucky because four-two when translated becomes shi-nii where it sounds like what Bakugo always shouts before doing something – SHI NE!!!!!! There are also 42 questions asked as you make your journey to death in Egyptian mythology.

So, yun lang.
